VBoot v2 and Horizondatasys ROLLBACK Rx 7 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hello,
(nb : excuse my english please)

Configuration : OS 32b = Windows 7
Disk 1 :
hd(0,1)= Partition 1 = System réserved + VBOOT/GRUB (grub.cfg)
hd(0,2)= (UUID=fcf87585f8753f48) = Partition 2 = W7 System
hd(0,5)= (UUID=4401c21117d88fut) = Partition 3 = Data
hd(0,6)= (UUID=14f45433f4541976) = Rep VHD-W7-32FR\VHD-W7-32FR.vhd (fixed VHD 15 Go)
----------
> Licensed VMLite VBOOT v2 installed (automatic setup with 'vbootedit.exe install' command)
> Windows boot manager configured with a VBoot entry
> VHD-W7-32FR.vhd disk file has been converting to become bootable using VBoot
> Grub.cfg menuentry configured for booting from VHD-W7-32FR.vhd on hd(0,6) with the UUID :
menuentry "Windows 7 VHD" {
vboot harddisk=(UUID=14f45433f4541976)/VHD-W7-32FR\VHD-W7-32FR.vhd
}
----------
1/ When I boot in the VMlite VBoot menu from 'Windows 7 VHD' entry, all works fine : the sequence for VMLite VBoot Loader 2.0 and [VBoot] Booting ... to VHD are right.
And this is the problem :
2/ After that, I want to test the Horizondatasys ROLLBACK Rx by install the software on my system with VBoot v2.
> Installation ROLLBACK Rx is OK : setup and rollback rx console works fine.
> BUT, when i want to boot in the VMlite VBoot menu from 'Windows 7 VHD' entry, the VMLite VBoot Loader STOP Booting? I've this state :
----------
VMLite VBoot Loader 2.0 ...
BOOT-IMAGE=/vboot/vboot code= ... init= ... addr=... size=...
config-file=(hd0,1)/vboot/grub/grub.cfg "vboot harddisk=(UUID=14f45433f4541976)/VHD-W7-32FR\VHD-W7-32FR.vhd", len=182
---> and vboot loader is STOPPED
This sequence (which is right in case 1) :
register_disk (driveno=80, (UUID=14f45433f4541976)/VHD-W7-32FR\VHD-W7-32FR.vhd, harddisk_ramdisk_image=00000000, harddisk_file=bf8f52d0)
VBoot Loading boot sector : boot_drive_idx=0, driveno=0x80, addr=0x7c00, len=0x200, offset=0x0
[VBoot] Booting ...
is not executed !
------------
I've tested many solutions and If I verify with command line console for (hd)harddisk, UUID, folder_path, VHD file, grub.cfg menuentry all is OK but when I execute ctrl-x command it's the same result

Does anyone has an idea of a way to resolve this problem ? I would appreciate any help in this matter.
Many thanks in advance
