Thanks for asking, we are very busy focusing on the following stuff:

VBoot:
(1) performance improving
(2) writeable support on vboot loader phase, to support windows 95/98/Me/DOS, etc.
(3) exploring RAM boot
(4) exploring diskless (i.e., network) boot
(5) USB support
(6) Linux differencing disks, Andriod, etc.

VMLite XP Mode:
(1) V4.0, with robust USB support, and other bugs fixes
(2) remote USB addition via RDP
(3) a hwardware device to allow one physical PC to be used by multiple people, with each person seeing a separate vm with a different keyboard, mouse, display and sound.

(4) VirtualBox plugin for v4 version

VirtualApps Player
(1) we are about to release the first version of our application virtualization product, which provides a secure sandbox.
(2) this should be very useful too VBoot users, so you can install apps to a common hard disk to be used by different VHDs.

When do we get a new version? Afair the current version expires in May. Include the Expire date in the doc and in the loader.

Does the WIM to VHD convert now uses C: under Vista? if not is the install issue I have fixed so that I can use the DVD to install Vista into a VHD?

we've been quiet on vboot release these past several weeks, as we have been working on performance improvement, and removing open source code (we may decide not to use GRUB2/VBox code due to some license issue). There is no time line yet for next major release.

The new major release will have about same performance as Microsoft VHD driver. The current version uses only one thread, next release will use 16 threads, and start to support mounting nested virtual disks, i.e., a vhd inside a second vhd, which in turn inside a 3rd vhd, etc., and you will be able to mount them at the same time.

also working on writeable support for vboot loader at boot stage, so DOS/Windows 3.1/95/98 may start to boot from a vhd.

I would like to evaluate the software, but it gives me blue screens. I can't get it set it up to see it would work for me. Can you help?
