Hi there,

i just installed win 8 pro and did an backup on my win xp mode under win 7 (just copied the .vhd .vsv. and .vmc file).
I also inatalled the VMLite XP mode and have a clean xp mode running.
Is there a way to migrate, import or open my existing win xp mode.vhd (had a lot of software an settings installed)?

I found this guide:

But it doesnt work for me, because i cant find the "Windows XP Mode base.vhd" as needed.
