In Hardware Profile there are (4 of my) usb-ports, but I can't install a printer nor a scanner, because in the install menu, there are only parallel and serial ports. Plug and play doesn't work either. Is there a solution for this. I installed VMLite XP Mode to keep my scanner, because there is no driver for it in Windows 7.

Did you see your device under vm console menu Devices > USB Devices?
Did you add a USB filter for your usb device?

It's quite tricky to make USB device to work with VirtualBox, especially the first time. You may have to reboot your host computer.

As a sanity check, you can check if USB flash device works.

Yes, admin, I see my printer as well as the scanner. Both are captured, but won't work. You were talking about a USB filter, how can I add it.

I'm sorry I tried to embed the images, but it didn't work.

Neither the scanner nor the printer respond to any software. Plug and play installing doesn't work either.
I must say that I had the printer working in a earlier installation. But after installing the scanner software everything blocked, I hadn't any acces to XP anymore and I decided to reinstall SVB, VMLW en XP, withe these results.
Is there anyone who could give me the solution?
