Change ADB path of VAAC on Mac 6 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
The ADB that comes with VMLITE VNC server for Android does not work for me as it cannot detect the phone (Samsung Note3) and always see it as offline. I believe it has to do with the version of ADB that is bundled with VMLITE VAAC.

I have a working ADB that runs on my Mac but I cannot find any button on VMLITE VAAC that I can use to change the path of ADB to use my working ADB.

I can see there is a button to change ADB path for the windows version but I cant find the same for the Mac version.

Please help.

Doing it now, will be available in next build.

For now, you can simply copy adb to our App's Resources folder to overwrite the old one.

or run these commands from Terminal using your version of adb:

sudo adb shell "am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.vmlite.vncserver/.MainActivity"
sudo adb shell /data/data/com.vmlite.vncserver/files/vmlitevncserver

also remember to set password on our VNC Server on Android (click menu button) if you use Mac's built-in vnc viewer from Finder.

After changing replacing the ADB, I can start the VNC Server on android.
However, the moment I try to connect to the server from the browser, it give "Server disconnected (code: 1006)". The server then stop running.
