Java applet has unsigned security certificate 6 Years ago Karma: 0
I am using the VMLite VNC Server on a Samsung SCH-R720. I recently updated the app and Android App Controller to v1.3.3 because of the pop-up window that would appear every time I launched the app which said there was a new version available. Shortly after updating I received a prompt from Java when opening the web browser to view which stated that the old Java version was no longer supported by the applet.

I updated Java to version 7.45 which works with the applet. However, the new Java has a pop-up window stating that their is no security certificate for the applet. Java no longer allows the user to ignore the message in the future, so it appears every time.

I am using the Android app for automated testing in conjunction with National Instruments LabVIEW. So the lack of the security certificate is giving me difficulties with my testing scripts that I was not having with earlier versions of the Android App and Android App controller.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there a fix available to give the applet a signed certificate to eliminate the problem?
