Cannot connect via Browser OR VNC Viewer 6 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi All,

Please help, I have followed all instructions and my Tablet shows Server is running:

VNC Viewer: 192.168.1.81:5901
Browser: 192.168.1.81:5801

However when I try to visit the IP in my browser whilst on the same network I just get page cannot be found and the VNC client times out.

Any ideas? Many Thanks!

James

I have also tried:
www.vmlite.com/novnc/vnc_auto.html?host=...801&true_color=1

But to no avail. Just says timed out

sorry for the problem. Rested for sure, we will make it to work on your device.

It's possible the server crashed. can you do the following?

(1) when our vnc server is running at the front, click menu button on your device, then click Exit All to quit the app

(2) run our app again on device

(3) connect your device to a pc, and run the following command with adb: (I assume you started the server with our desktop program):

cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\VMLite\AndroidAppController"
adb shell "/data/data/com.vmlite.vncserver/files/vmlitevncserver --nodaemon"

please let me know the output message.

OK, seems server is not crashing. Can you try to connect to 5901 using tightvnc viwer while it's running? what is the output message?

'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.'
