After installing
"sudo apt-get install libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev"
same things happen while
apt-get install libavahi-compat-libdnssd1

starting rplay it says
*** WARNING *** The program 'rplay' uses the Apple Bonjour compatibility layer of Avahi.
*** WARNING *** Please fix your application to use the native API of Avahi!
*** WARNING *** For more information see <0pointer.de/avahi-compat?s=libdns_sd&e=rplay>

I can access IP:7100/admin and both FF and chromium do not pass me furhter using admin/admin

BTW
if somebody has this error
ALSA lib pcm.c:2217:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM cards.pcm.front
it helps:

Edit the file /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf:
sudo nano /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf
change the line "pcm.front cards.pcm.front" to "pcm.front cards.pcm.default"

the conf file is: /etc/rplay.conf

Agree with Solenzo,
"sudo apt-get install libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev" works great

ALSA tips works also

but i've got the credential issue (safari, FF, Chrome), with admin/admin

You can edit /etc/rplay.conf to add the license key.

append this line to the very end (make it a new line)

sudo vi /etc/rplay.conf

admin_password=admin
license_key=your-key-from-email
